|
|
Has anyone used the Trout support dvds for redfish? I bought the two for trout and it took me from a beginner to an advanced level in no time. My kids actually like going fish with me now. Before the bites were slow and a lot of times going home empty handed. Just wondering if anyone else has tried. |

Just finished watching the Reds in Bays and shorelines and it has a lot of great info. I'm gonna need to get a troller motor. Any recommendations for a 20ft gulf coast? |

I would say a bowmount 80lb or better, 54" or better shaft, 24 volt in either a MInn Kota Riptide or Motorguide Greatwhite. _________________ Shallow Sportn' it |

I would say the 80# 24volt unit would b good for a 20' rig, but I have one on a 23' Explorer and sometimes wish I had more power, due to wind or tide. My TM is a Motor Guide and their new I-pilot like unit coordinates with a Lowrance GPS where the Minn Kota I-pilot requires a different GPS unit. I encourage you to do your research online before making a decision. By the way, Bernie's is a great dealer! |

Yessir, redfish dvd gives good info on where they should be considering conditions, (tides, structure, topography, ect..). Again, will certainly help you fish smarter. Good luck. D |

I purchased the shallow water redfish and big trout DVD and found them to be very informative. There is so much good information on them that I found it useful to take notes that I can refer to while fishing. Also Tobin has been very helpful and willing to answer all my questions. Check them out! It will be worth your time. _________________ Longhorn |

A friend of mine knows someone who bought some DVDs that show prime spots to fish on the coastal bend. Supposedly the DVDS were put together by one of more guides and cost something like $500.
Are these the same DVDs y'all are referencing? |

No, these DVD's cost about $40 and teach you how to fish and what to look for on the water but don't share specific locations on where to fish. _________________ Longhorn |

I'm waiting on mine. Just ordered the Redfish (Bays / Marshes). Can't wait to watch. I hear nothing but glowing reviews about TS vids. _________________ Jerry

I'm wondering how long these vids are. Would like to get them but don't want to spend 40.00 on a 30 minute video. I'm also wondering if anyone has any of the Jay Watkins videos and how they compare. Thanks |

These videos are appropriately 2 hours long. It's a good value for your money. _________________ Longhorn |

if someone made a DVD with "spots" for bay fishing, I'd consider it an absolute ripoff. |
