Hello all,
First post here. I was down last weekend doing some surf fishing. I am looking at coming back down tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if the weed has worsened since last week? What's it currently looking like?
Thanks in advance! |

Was raking it in off Bob Hall this AM. It's not as bad as I've seen, but it's enough to ruin a bottom fisher's day and get all caught up in the gear. The TAMUG forecasts show a few packs near us right now moving NNE, and with the wind sustaining moderately high from the SE, I believe we're getting some wash from those packs. So unless it calms down, I think it's going to be fairly weedy for a few days at least in the surf.
Haven't heard if it's moved into the Laguna or bays yet. _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |

I was SBH yesterday. Lots of fresh stuff washed up, but not much in the water. Could easily fish with cast out.
But all that can change quick.
Tide was high, pretty much just high road SBH. |
