Well I am about 30 days out from my trip to Corpus. Its been 3 years since I have been there. Look forward to maybe catching some of you on PA Jetties or Packery.

Got the tackle about ready and cannot wait to get in some saltwater. Will check back in before we leave for some update fishing reports.

Well who am I kidding I check this thing religiously wether I am a week or a year out.

Will definitely post photos. I got my nephew on reds in the surf last time down and hoping to get my wife and daughter on some this time as well.

My dad was originally from CC and I have spent a lot of time down that way. He's been gone 8 years now, so kind of a memorial/remembrance trip every time we are down.

One thing I would like to catch is Smacks this year. I have yet to get on them solid. Is mid to early July a possibility to find them. I plan on walking the length of North PA Jetty at least one day hunting them.
