I spoke to Cici at the pier and she said they had small blacktips, speckled trout, and black drum so far this morning. Wind was freshening as I left.

Any word on the seaweed? When I was down there a few weeks ago, seaweed was pretty bad. Thanks

Fished sbh and got tons of whiting. Put a small one live on one pole and hot this 38" Jack.

The one I caught the same size yesterday in the Laguna was actually easier to bring in than this surf one. Surf fish are definitely stronger than those inshore

A friend and his neighbor went to BHP Friday evening and fished from 8 - 10 PM with live shrimp. They caught these and about 30 large skippies. He said everyone must have been at Buc Days because it was not crowded at all.
