Been chasing these reds pretty close to shore recently. Having great success with white plastics in those rich sand pockets and purple/grey in dirty areas. All caught in 1-2 foot of water and they are picky picky in some areas.
As seen:
-1/8 Golden Eye Jig accompanied with MatrixShad 'Glow' or 'Purple Haze'
-spro swivel, braid to 12lb Silver Thread fluorocarbon
