My friend Steve, and his wife Lauren, invited me to go fishing this morning. We left Bluff Marina about 9 a.m. and returned about noon. Keeper fish were few and far between and between the three of us we only got eight keeper trout. We did catch lots and lots and lots of undersized however. One interesting thing was that Lauren and Steve were both using shrimp under corks. Steve had a plastic cork with beads in it and Lauren had your standard styrofoam cork. Steve outcaught her by a ton. Normally Lauren a good fisherperson but this day I think the cork did make a difference.

I was throwing soft Plastics in mainly purple chartreuse and also a white gulp. The purple outfished the white gulp by about 4 to 1
