Did a lot of fishing and hit a lot of areas the other day. Sorry for the late post. Water was gorgeous just about everywhere, and in some areas honestly too clear. Fished 5-8 hours each day Saturday-Monday. Covered a lot of water, trying different spots, and looking for new honey holes. Conditions were very hot, and windy for October 80-95 degrees, and 10-20 mph winds each day. Add in a full moon, and fishing was a bit of a bear all weekend.

Back yard- caught small trout and a couple keeper reds on shrimp and corks. Lower slot size on the reds, and all in about 3.5' of water.

CC Bay structures- One day was dead on specs. Caught a few fat sand trout on free line shrimp Sunday morning. Monday morning caught two limits of nice trout 20-23" and fat on free line shrimp as well. Dogfish and other bait stealers were rampant, stole a lot of bait, and makes for difficult fishing.

Boat Hole- Caught reds on top water white/red topdawgs, but lower limit. No trout here.

Green Shack Cove/Shamrock/Spoil area- Tons of smaller trout on silver spoons in 2-4' of water and a few undersize reds.

Nighthawk- Lower slot trout and reds were good on white/red topdawgs, shrimp and corks over grass flats in 2-3' of water. Water was very pretty in here, but fish were scarce.
