Before I landed the giant Cobia last week, I started the morning by chasing the kingfish. Let's just say the customers were large that morning. They must have heard about the catch and release program that morning, lol. At one point I was forced to jump overboard to remove a tangled line from the rudder, but sometimes that's just part of the fun when a big fish is on the line. Several of these fish were over 50 inches in length. The photos are just to give you an idea, but the video shows seven kings coming aboard. Why can't all mornings be like that?

There is a reason you are called the Professor...
Thanks for teaching us what is out there.

Before your posts and videos, I always thought of three options - bay fishing, PINS beach fishing and deep sea fishing way out there.
Now after your sessions, I see there is a great fourth option and new world of just offshore via kayaks.

Thanks again for the teaching !!

Thanks for the kind words. Kayaks offer a silent way to sneak very close to quality game fish out there!
