As in Cold, Crappy Water.... Crying or Very sad

After a nice week of sultry surf temps and recovering visibilities, it bottomed out at 78 night before last and has became choco-latte way out past the 4th bar.

On the flip-side, I'm sure the cool water was a nice respite for the 4th of July throngs on the beach, even if it meant being sand-blasted by the winds. As for me, I was stuck in the blast-furnace of Southside fields off McCardle over the weekend, watching our girls take State!!!

Awful surf and cold temps, just what the doctor ordered for the Deep Sea Roundup this coming weekend - said NO ONE EVER..... Rolling Eyes

ripcharts shows a big wad of cool, chlorophyll laden water headed up the coast from Mexico....looks like another week or two, and maybe it will train out by then...

It's 76.8 this morning at Bob Hall. Embarassed But as they say on the bright side it will be much cooler along the beachfront than in town.
