When the new purposed bridge across the Mother Lagoon is supposed to be finished. According to the news today. I hope I will be 80 and alive.

another great idea... maybe they'll even do the same thing they did with the jfk causeway and create a 2 mile long dam in the laguna... |

| Been in the works for a while now. Friend of mine that's a surveyor actually mapped everything out on the King Ranch, across the lagoon and on the island about a year and a half ago. |

true statement....the "South Loop" as it's been called over the years was actually talked about way back in 1949 when they were building the first causeway.....it comes up from time to time...
on another note, while South Padre was a few years behind us in the first causeway, they are a few years ahead of us regarding their second causeway....
