Had a visit scheduled Tues with a nephew to do some kayak fishing...Kid's a classic 13yo bout 85 pounds wet...very lil experience fishing, and zero in saltwater, and less with lures...

I was praying for just one good one...

Tuesday was pretty, so I get the standard sunrise pic, figured my brother would appreciate it if the fish didn't cooperate...

High water and almost dead calm conditions had me worried...After numerous missed blowups it wasn't looking good...


But he eventually found one to fall on the sword...
