It's a good morning for having breakfast and drinking coffee. Wind speed at Bob Hall pier.....27.5 mph with gusts to 31. Cloudy to partly cloudy with fast moving low clouds. Almost everyday this week there will be a international space station fly over but the clouds will probably mess it up. Tonight at 9:53pm from W to NE and May 30th at 5:07 am it will come in from the NW and disappear to the SE. Theres an ISS app for those who like looking up every now and then. Have a great day and enjoy the wind.....not.

Wind, wind, and more wind....

I'm not looking for a stellar weigh-in at the Port A Pachanga this afternoon.
They added 2 offshore species this year. Not a great day to be out in the bay, let alone outside the jetties.

Coffee it is.

just got my anemometer parts this morning. Already assembled and re-set. it's working fine with current wind speeds at my house 23-30 with higher gusts to 32 mph. Very Happy Nope that's wrong it was reading KPH re-set it to mph, now it's reading 20-22 with peak gust at 26. that's better.

Brush Country Chapter - CCA is having their annual "Baffin Bay Shoot Out" today. It does not take much to make Baffin a rough bay. Hope that all participants enjoy a great, and safe, day. Good thing that everything finishes at 1:00 PM.
