Flour Bluff is making history on the diamond. Both the mens and women team are still in the playoffs. Deepest in school history for both programs.
Everybody has their school spirit, but I have always loved how we all come together and support our local teams as they advance towards the STATE Playoffs.
Right now it's Calallen & Flour Bluff in 5A, and many more Coastal Bend teams in 4A and below. The Coastal Bend has always, and continues, to sport very competitive teams on the diamond.

Congratulations to all Bluff softball & baseball players and coaches. Now for all of us to rally behind the G-P softball team and the Bishop baseball team. Hoping to bring another STATE CHAMPIONSHIP to the Coastal Bend.

Nothing like keeping my own thread going.
Congratulations to all the players, and coaches, of the Gregory-Portland softball team. Oh so close, a heartbreaker, but you did yourselves, and this area, proud. Hold your heads high and be proud of what you accomplished this year.
