If you gig non egg bearing blue crabs and kill them and put them on ice is it safe to eat them within 24hrs.

Yes. They will be fine, so long as you keep them cold. |

| You will be safer to clean them, as early, as you can, but the colder you can keep them the better if not cleaning them sooner than 24 hours. |

Use a net instead of a gig. They'll stay alive that way and are not as beat up when you go to eat them.
