|
|
| Any advice for navigating Estes flats. Never been back in there before. I have a 17' Carolina Skiff with a 50 HP outboard on it, no jackplate. I do have a trolling motor. Do I need to worry about getting stuck or should I be able to fish pretty freely in the area? Are there any oyster beds or hazards that I should know about ahead of time. Thanks for the info. |

yes, get a top spot map, should get you around in there...there are indeed oyster reefs and shallow areas....it's also in the Redfish Bay State Scientific Area, don't get busted uprooting seagrass...
