I wasn't planning on fishing today being it was a Saturday and the Saturday before Easter st that. But to my surprise there weren't as many trucks and trailers in front of my house as there were yesterday. Around noon I went out to the honey hole. I was using a rattle with a white gulp underneath it, as the water was still quite stained. Two of the first three trout I caughtm one keeper, was on the rattle itself. Being that it was pink I change my white gulp to a pink paddle tail lure. Wound up catching 9 keeper trout and one undersized red. No pictures because they were the ordinary, run-of-the-mill, no big deal, trout.
By the way, I was at a party on the island yesterday and met a few people from this forum. Good meeting you and it was fun talking to you guys. Also, I never saw so much wine at a party in all my life. All my parties involved lots of beer. I guess yoga goes better with wine![/i] |

Good to meet you too Zia. A good time was had by all. You should have given me the high sign. There was plenty of Shiner and Fat Tire right next to the Franklin County Va. shine. Those yogi start mixing their booze and things get crazy. So I do my best to keep'em seperated for everyone's safety.
Next time my friend! |
