i didn't get out yesterday however all my fishing buddies are reporting trout almost everywhere and on everything throughout the boathole and backyard down toward emmords hole. reds along access road between the green signs next to JFK causeway in the shallow gut on cut bait. big uglies in most of the canals and channels on usual bait sea lice, crab peeled shrimp. however for the out of town people coming on the weekends who may be unaware...bait for drum can be hit and miss at the bait stands on the weekends as the piers are full of people. make sure to stop by HEB and buy some shrimp to peel if you are after those big drum. supposed to be a big school of slot drum at deadmans hole being reported by some yakers and waders. the north shoreline in the back bay are holding good numbers of fish between the shoreline and reefs. reefs out from white point in the back bay are holding limits of solid box trout early in the day. next report in a few days. sure hope this wind lays down soon. good luck to all

Always appreciate a good tip. Now just for the opportunity to make it payoff. Thanks.
