Can anyone recommend a good, fair roofer? Need a re-roof. Composite shingle.
Nothing fancy. Just needs to pass windstorm. Thanks! _________________

I used 5 Star a few years back and was very satisfied. They did a great job of roofing and the clean-up. |

I've used Tom Sheehan at custom home exteriors. He's a big time fly fisherman. Number 949-2100 |

Steer clear of Wolfe Construction. I had a reroof 3 years ago. Still leaking and they're trying to snake out of fixing it. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

make sure whoever does the job gets a permit. Or go get it yourself. I'm talking the city permit. also make sure windstorm comes out and passes it too. If you don't get the city permit you will get fined. Up to 2500 bucks. Windstorm does not overide the city. I know from experience. I had a great roof put on windstorm said they did an excellent job. I never knew the roofer did not pull a permit. When the windstorm sent in the paperwork it threw up a red flag with the city. I had to go to court the fine was 2500 got it reduced to 800 because I showed them the windstorm paperwork. The permit is only a 100 bucks I would have pulled it myself. Enforcement code dudes don't fool around. Just a heads up. I still feel the city ripped me off but who doesn't. Just a heads up. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
