I went out there last night and there were a few trout under the lights. Lots of people fishing with live shrimp. There was a 6'8" greater hammerhead caught about 10:00 p.m.
Good luck. |

Went out on wedsday only one small shark, lots of pony mullet in the
surf and some swiming close the T . The current was slack and no whitting to be found. I always look for whitting because i use them for bait,And if theres a lot of whiting theres other fish around.Heard they were
catching reds at night in the second gut.
The bait was there but no current, still had a great time The water looked great but still had some weed in it.
Tight lines every one dont get discourage the current has to move and when its moving with the way the water looks and the bait thats showing up, ITS ALL YOU NEED.... _________________ ''ONE LAST CAST''

| I fished out at BHP Mon and Wed around late morning to early afternoon and couldn't catch a fish other than a skipjack on a Mannolure. Noone else was catching anything either day, except an occasional small shark. People told me that some reds and specks were caught on live shrimp at night, but they weren't around when I was there. I did hook a small speck on a Mannolure in the second gut as I was leaving on Wed, but let him throw the hook on the surface. There was a school of bumper shad under the weather station and a few pin perch, but the rest of the pier was devoid of bait fish other than a bunch of pony mullet schools swimming around.( undesturbed by any predators.) The water was a murky green and not much N-S current. |
