Does anyone know if the 4x4 sign on PINS has been in the same area since 1990?

Has it ever been moved up or down the beach depending on driving conditions, or if a storm or drunk driver took out the sign at one point and the park moved the sign?

Can anyone give me lat longs for where the sign is? I think I see it on google earth but I need to be very specific on where it sits now.

Thanks!

Right-click the place or area on the map.
Select What's here?
A card appears at the bottom of the screen with more info.

Yeah I have lat longs for what I think is the 4x4 sign from google earth. I was just wanting someone to confirm them.

I have the sign at 27-20-59.36 by 97-19-33.93. I need to know if the sign has always been in this general area since 1988-1992. Thanks!

The recording last week said rough at the entrance and smooth the rest of the beach.

As far as I know it's always been in the same spot, there have been several replacements over the years. (It used to be a humungous billboard in the 70's)

Just a reminder how excited the Rangers get arresting and confiscating people's metal detectors.
