Thanks to shallowsport for contacting me and taking me out fishing today. I appreciate it Scott. Went south of Pita island after the fog lifted this morning and started fishing the gut. Started catching some fish then the fog came in thick. We could not see any landmarks and had no idea where we wete, other than south of Pita. Around 11 the fog lifted and Scott took us down south by the Kleberg County marker. Picked up one trout there that was a nice fat 18 inches. Decided to go home and stop at the original spot but couldn't find any fish. Stopped at the three minute honey hole and the first cast I catch a nice fat 19 incher.Next 10 minutes we must have caught 10-12 Trout but all were under size. Stopped at the 2 minute honey on the way in but only did 5 minutes it because we couldn't drift and just sat there. We wound up putting 8 nice fat trout between 17 and 19 inches in the box. Thanks again shallowsport. I had fun

Tom, it was a blast, and on top of that we caught fish. The stories you shared were very interesting & entertaining. Do like the fish grabbing glove - nice for you and the fish.
Every trip is a learning experience and I certainly learned a thing or two. Thanks for sharing the day with me. Look forward to more trips.

we dumped about 4:30pm yesterday, and as we drove by your place you were digging around in Mary's car....I yelled at you, but you didn't hear....I was going to invite you fishing, but you had more than the usual number of vehicles in your driveway, and I figured you had company....

next time, I'll just call...glad someone got you out on the water....we caught a million dinks, two keepers, and a nice kicker drum around 22" barely south of PITA...
