Anytime from later this month to late August.
It varies every year. Sometimes it ends in early April, if it is a very short season. Sometimes, during very long, heavy seasons, it has stayed on the beach until late August.
Normally, it starts letting up by late April, early May.
Just make t he most of it and fish jigs and spoons in empty pockets or around and under weed mats. The are lots of fish around the seaweed, you just need to target them.

Not too bad around the weed if you are trout fishing or trying to catch whiting with a small rod. Mix wind in there with it and it is tough to long rod.
