Also change the water several times a day and keep your sunscreen hands out of the water.
Keep buckets in the shade

Put a medium size handful of ice in the bucket, bucket in the shade, and air bubbles, and you will be going all day and night.

Some suggest freezing water bottles with water and put in there. I just put a handful of ice.

In my 2 cent opinion, frozen water bottle in bucket is too much. Fish will love it and thrive, but as soon as they hit the water you are fishing, they die because of quick and drastic temp. change.

30 gallon Rubbermaid trash can or bigger a good aquarium air pump and the wooden air stones from tropical fish haven run both stones a 30 qt is too small for an overnighter unless you are running oxygen a smaller set up may keep em alive but there is a big difference in alive bait and prime kicking baits be careful of adding ice you may be adding chlorine that's frozen in the water keep the container in the shade and you will be good to go
