Went out about 9 a.m. to the honey hole and the winds were out of the Northeast. Made one drift and picked up three keeper trout and a 26 inch red fish. Went around for a second drift and picked up two more trout. Knowing there were fish there and I wasn't going to keep any I decided to try different spots and different lures. I wound up throwing my usual tequila sand eel, plum sand shad, glow paddle tail, and soft plastics rigged weedless/ weightless. At first I thought the fish I was catching were do to my fishing skills, but they wound up biting everything I threw. They were just hungry! In total I caught one flounder, 2- red fish, lost another red, and 14 keeper trout as well as equal number of under size trout. Four of the trout were in the 19 to 21 inch range and nice and fat. Several of the others were a nice fat 16 and 17. This fish was a shade under 20".

Nice report! Hope they're still biting when I get there Friday. I'll be kayaking it so hopefully they're within paddling distance.
