Hope Manuel doesn't start spewing more hate at me with this post. Went out to the honey hole wanting to catch Reds to see if I can get a tagged one for the CCA tourney. Wound up with three keepet trout and four redfish. 1 red was undersized, 2 were just over the lower limit and one went 26. None were tagged. Damn!
I was planning on fishing tropic Isles and the water line but when I got on the water I noticed I had less than a quarter tank of gas. Way to be prepared, Zia! So I fished in the area of my honey hole.
one really cool thing happened. I was drifting past the area where I had put my dog kokopelli's ashes. I had just thought to myself "come on koko give me some magic. That's when I hooked the 26 inch red. My best fishing buddy is still making me smile. |

Thats the hardest part about owning a pet. We are never with them long enough. The only comfort we get is knowing that we gave them the best life possible and from what I've seen on the forum you really loved your dog. still sorry for your loss.

LOL! I promise I won't, nothing but love. All you guys are like Rock Stars to me. Just to be mentioned by you is awesome. Although I probably could have gone about it a different way to get a mention. But really awesome report. Keep them coming. I was down on Sunday for the day with my son. I haven't had a chance to post up. I have my dogs ashes on my fridge so I feel ya.
