Both Saturday and Sunday morning on the way out to the beach I saw one of the biggest cluster&*#$s I have seen in some time. Just east of the little bridge on the JFK, there were folks literally shoulder to shoulder along the bank, and a dozen or so boats anchored up directly in front of them!!!  Anybody got a report (other than tangled lines) about this??? It must have been on fire to draw that much of a crowd. |

I figured it was drum, but was wondering. Too early for the mass exodus of reds from the bays, and I know floundering has been good as of late, but I wouldn't think THAT good!!! Hats off to them for fighting the crowds (which you KNOW had more than a googan or two)!!!  |

| Seems like that has happened every year for the last 2-3 years. I'm not mad enough at them to fight THAT crowd. I wonder if they are doing THAT well. |

| yep was drum. We fished them from the bank friday. Was more boats than bank fisherman. But for the most part everyone was curteous. I bet sat/sun was a zoo though. |
