I hope its OK to ask about another forum. I have been trying get registered for the forum for close to 2 week now. I have sent a few emails requesting help. Are they normally slow about approving members?
I got the email showing my username and saying currently inactive pending approval. I have been using the Gmail email I found on the site and been trying make contact that way. I was hoping maybe someone here knows one of them and can help me make contact
Thanks for any help

If it's any consolation, you're not missing out on anything. Who knows how to get ahold of ol' Deaver these days...

hahaha! good question....better question is, wonder why you would want to contact him in the first place? LOL

Saltbranch, don't be silly, sign on to the Texas Shark Rodeo, supported by the Sharkathon folks and don't look back....no drama, just shark fishing and tagging....

That first part was funny....and the second part is true. Sign up for the Rodeo and get to fishing.

Check out Sharks On the Sand. I'm on TX-Sharkfishing and SOS. SOS is way more active, but they're mainly floridan and east coasters.

I asked this same question about two years ago when I tried to register and got the same response. Since then I have heard a lot of stories about Deaver. Interesting character from what I hear. I'm still waiting for a confirmation of my registration.

as mentioned, Texas Shark Rodeo is the real deal, look no farther....they've already tagged around 400 sharks this season, and they are on track for breaking 1,000 tagged sharks this season (WOW!!! Shocked )

check it out here, and get signed up ASAP, as registration ends May 31st.... http://texassharkrodeo.com/

I don't have an account at that site. Why would you even want to post there?
