				| Fished last week at Horace Caldwell. Despite it being flat calm, we had this guy on a paddle board come right up under the pier. Asked him what he was doing and he started to talk like he owned the pier. Paddled right through our lines and put down the nice pomp bite we were enjoying. His parting shot to us? "Make sure you pick up all your trash when you leave?" Of all the nerve! We always leave the pier cleaner than when we arrive.
Buddy fished yesterday and they were out in force with the nice surf conditions. This doucehbag came by again and told my buddy that he had too many lines in the water and that he was interfering with the surfing.

Good thing I was wasn't there or i would have lost my cool.

 Sorry! Rant over!

				| Next time bust out the phone and shoot video or take photos. Then call the gamd warden to let him/her know that you have someone at the pier violating the Sportsman's Rights Act.
Share your evidence with the GW of the individual who harassed you. It'll probably be the last time he does it.

				| It's not all surfers who are bad, just as not all pier and jetty fisherman are jerks. Actually, I would put the percentage of pricks in each group either even or skewed towards the pier/jetty rats!!!! _________________

				| Last time I saw something like that a good hook set took care of it. By accident of course. | |

				| I had the same problem at N Packery jetty the other day. The surfers would paddle right through my lines. I was hoping I would hook one of em so I would not have got skunked. | |

				| Surfers, kite sailers, or any kind of watercraft, that has the advantage of mobility, should give way to the wader. That's what should happen. We all know the reality of the water. | |

				| Agreed. I kayaked to shamrock via wilson's once and started my wade with the kayak as my home base, moving it as i went. Later, another guy kayaks between me and the mother ship, which is like 30 feet. I guess he thought him and I were brethren because he was fishin in one and I had one floating there, but we weren't, and dang if he didn't catch a trout right in front of me. Sorry sob but I was steady looking to see what he was chunking. | |

				| Yup, I saw one of those "standing" board riders May 1st & also the 2nd cruzing right next to the pillars of HC Pier. Luckily there was only a couple of poles on the railing. What is this guy looking for? A barnacle tattoo? _________________

GW says you have to have a bait on the hook to do that.
FYI - Surfers don't fight much when they have a 14/0 circle hook in them. LOL!
