Me and my buddy turned our back for just a second and both our rods disappeared last night. One is and ugly stick with a shimano sustain 6000 and the other is a breakaway hdx with a daiwa Seagate 40 size. Please let me know if any one sees anything. Thanks a lot.

Tell us more, like where you were, etc., so we can avoid the same problem, and possibly help you out. Question

We were south of Bob hall. Probably a half mile past the sand bowl.

I would like to think the would have been taken out by a fish of some sort. Though the drag was set... It was just unbelievable to see it just gone. My buddies went first and during the search for his, my rod had disappeared. It happened probably around 2 in the morning so if they are in the water, they could be anywhere by now.

I have also heard of the tide doing crazy things when you get any kind of debris on your line. Like entire rod holder pulling out of the sand and rod and reels shooting off into the surf. I know this weekend was relatively calm but I suppose anything could happen. Either way hope you get your stuff back!
