The wife and i went to the boat show in Aransas pass yesterday and were really impressed ,not a huge show but well planned .We did see several of this site's sponsors along with few of Flour Bluff's finest local business owners .Free parking /shuttle,free admission a really successful event some thing this city just can't seem to figure out when it comes to boat shows. Anyway after lunch we decided to try our luck in the wake of the auto nation tournament , we did box a few fish but had to work for them . There are plenty of dink trout and red fish all over the flats .Using live shrimp under an alameda float we boxed one 22" redfish and 3 specks 17 to 19". The red fish was a bit unique, his lower jaw was either damaged and healed or was deformed as half of the lower jaw was missing and yet this fish was still hunting and feeding .
