Well the wife and I loaded up the truck and heading down to the state park Friday. Knew scattered thunderstorms were in the forecast but wasn't to worried camped at the state park in storms before..dear Lord this was probably the scariest storm I've ever been on. Lighting hitting all around us. Next day got some shark lines ran out past the 3rd gut with Bonita. Had something huge pick one up and take off, after about 5 mins line with slack guess didn't get a good hook up. No other luck, decided to check out red dot, threw everything I had no luck. Sunday ran some more Bonita out no luck, then rigged smaller poles up with small chunks of Bonita, waded out to second gut and was throwing into 3run every cast was a 12-18in red, had one or two keepers but released them. Wife and I each caught at least 13 each. Size wasn't there but wife had fun.
