I was just thinking about April fishing and was reminded via Facebook about the big bonnetnosed sharks that are caught each April off of Bob Hall Pier. I think if one tried, you could break the state record out there.
Also April is the traditional time the ling show up. One poster on here has lots of photos of ling caught off the Port A Jetties around Easter. I will have to do a search on this site. The moon phase for the bite was very specific.
Cheers and Happy Easter! _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

| Wasn't aware the Texas Bonnethead record was 50". My personal best is 44" last July off BHP. The biggest I've seen caught out there smashed the record. It was around 59" and was released as I would have done. That was about 13 years ago though. |
