From BHP south to the bowl, a steady line of 'non-Spring Break' participants, with many, many bent poles.... A Whiting extravaganza this afternoon. Good sizes, and steady action.

| Ditto on CS report. Water had a little more tint of green than 2 days ago. Caught about 20 whiting in the 1st gut. Had cut whiting on one pole past the 2nd bar and not a nibble. There was no bait in the water to cast up. By time spring breakers leave I think things will pick up. At least I won't be heading back there until then. |

Found lots of redfish last week two separate days behind Dagger island in 2-3 foot of water using Gulps and Norton Sand eels. Also found a lot of redfish and drum scattered along the edge of the intracoastal on the redfish bay flats edge cracked crab, shrimp and Gulps worked well. Just troll along until you either see fish or mudboils and then hunker down with bait or throw favorite arties. As always just look for the bait. _________________ Remember to check your smoke alarms. |

Went out this morning hoping for the forecasted winds of 5-10 turned out to be 16 plus out of the NE. The water south of Pureoil to the yellow cabin was dirty brown on both sides. Caught 2 trout came back in at 10:30. Not a good day wind and water wise. Saw 1 big ugly swimming upside down by the ICW . _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

the drum run is still on full blast down south and in the lagoon some hardheads have shown up ,but the main thing needed for the drum is current the icw and natural passes through the flats . look for current leading to a drop off you'll find the monsters in 6-8 feet of water and the keepers in 3-6 feet if the current is running like a river that where to be _________________ EAT,SLEEP,BREATHE,FISHING |
