I've seen some of these videos about Florida pompano fishing and their use of sand fleas (Mole Crabs) and the techniques they use there for catching bait.

Sadly though, I don't believe the Texas coast has the sand flea population that Florida does.

Any of y'all ever tried pomp fiahing with Coquinas? I know they eat them, and they are freaking everywhere down there. Seem like one could use a small hammer or nut cracker to bust the shell, and then put a few on a hook.
