If the poor proofing wasn't bad enough: leave to the government, ANY branch thereof, to waste tax payer money in proclaiming to the world how they are wasting the taxpayer's money!!! Rolling Eyes

I hope y'all get a much improved ramp out of it. I wouldn't hold my breath, but I'd rather be wrong than right on this one....

all funnies aside, that sign is required to be placed next to the boat ramp as Federal funds were used for the ramp ($1.6 million).....it's a federal requirement....

that being said, it doesn't even meet the minimum federal requirements; whoever put the sign up neglected to read that the required signage is supposed to have at the least the USFWS and TPWD symbols at the bottom as well....and the requirements don't say anything about not having all project partners on there....they could have put everyone on there....I"ve done several for several other grant programs that we've completed, and we made them look really good for a few dollars more.....

goof indeed...

Not only Texas Parks and "Wildfire." They made the same mistake TWICE on the same freakin sign. Government at its best.

That sign was contracted out. Private business at it's best. Wink

They probably farmed it out to India. Except people in India probably do better with English than many of our fellow citizens.

Expectations are obviously too high, this is Corpitos, unless you take the job to spell check for the city, this is what you get
