Does anyone have any recommendations for a guide that has dealt with a wheelchair before? Looking to get my dad out on some fish. Fishing any of the bays or Laguna Madre is what we're wanting to do. Thanks

I wouldn't think long boat rides would be the best - like to Baffin, etc. So, my bet is Capt. Mike Singleterry would be a good bet to get your dad on fish with a minimal amount of discomfort.

I take my uncle out every time I'm down, two hours is about his limit. (Parkinsons)

Long or rough boat rides are just not possible. Maybe you should get a feel for that before you send him on any long trips.

As long as I get him strapped in good he's good for a long half day to a full one with decent weather. We have fished Lake Erie for giant walleyes. He's also landed Dorado over 25 lbs, 20+ lb yellowtails and a couple nice Yellowfin Tunas off the Pacific Coast of Baja. We've been out of SPI for snapper fishing on some pretty rough days. He has also caught Piranhas on the Amazon River. I didn't get to go on that trip. As long as I can get him in the boat and secure we are good to go. Thanks RPool. I'll give him a call.
