I spent most of the day mowing with the tractor out at the property, cleaning up the camp area so we can take the kids on a weekend campout. Before dark I went down to the creek and sat in a blind to see what was around. I found gobblers and jakes milling around before going to roost.
The turkeys have been gone from the property for several years, and I'm sure looking forward to playing the game again when season starts!
