I need to buy a sunshade to keep me out of the sun on PINS. Any recommendations? As you know it need to be able to withstand high winds and not rust away from the salt.
Thanks,
David |

I bought a simple pop-up shade from Walmart for like $20 or so. It is the one with the green white striped canves. You just stick all the poles together (all aluminim - no rusting) and then lay the canvas over the top, tying down the side facing the wind first.
Make sure whatever you use, you take some wood stakes with you and a shovel. Those little metal stakes do not work at the beach if the wind is up at all. Instead of stacking things in the ground, dig a hole 18 inches deep, by a foot wide, wrap the string around the stake a few times, lay the stack in the hole sideways, and flat, fill in with sand and then wet the sand and step on it to pack down. Your tent / tarp / shade will not go anywhere!
Use cotton string, so when you leave you can just cut the string at the ground and go. _________________ GOBZA!!!
