looking at heading down to Port A for jetty and surf fishing Friday and Sat. Weather forecast has me second guessing the 300 mile drive. Thoughts from some locals

Saturday and Sunday it doesn't look too bad...9 mph wind from the north. I saw people catching flounder in worse conditions than that last weekend...
Not sure what weather report Acoustennis looked at that would make it hard for you to drive?

I drove from midland to Corpus last night and it's a slow steady rain.
Hope it passes because I'm headed to port Mansfield tomorow.

Granted, if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes, but Saturday and Sunday look nice.

I'll be on the surf both days.
