Several of us went south of Bob Hall yesterday....flat surf, no weed, tons of mullet in surf....and MILLIONS of biting flies until mid-afternoon. Driving was much smoother than on Corpus roads.
Anyway, we caught two huge pomps, one little one, several whiting, and a couple of hard heads.

your pics make me want to get in the car and head your way. only thing keeping me from it is i am in hibernation mode for a while longer. hoping to come late march or early april

Man does that ever look good to me. Last week I had half of my right foot cut off so my beach fishing is off for a while. What a beautiful beach.
