Ran all over the backyard from the Humble bridge area all the way to pure oil channel. Even went into north nighthawk. No fish in the box today. We did catch a few small trout, one was just barely legal, let him live to fight another day. Threw arties of every color, shape and size. Tough day in the lagoon. Better than working without a doubt.

Thanks for the report.

Here is mine, a few days late. Drifted the area outside Tropic Isles on Sunday morning, enjoying a light NE breeze. A few dink trout, hooked a couple of skippies and one 17" black drum on Gulps. Took my daughter out that afternoon for a couple of hours and we scratched. By that time the SE wind had picked up and really turned the water off color.

We hit that area too, that same area seems to always hold some nice trout. the wind was still a little from the northwest and the moon was still quite high in the sky so I figured the bite was off due to those two things more than anything else. water looked good.

The first three weeks in October have always been slow for me.
