ok... the first report I typed up crashed and burned and disappeared lol. So this one will be short and sweet to make sure I get it all in.

driving = long, rough and bumpy
surf = big angry nasty full of seaweed chop

made it to the 40.5mm, found a deep gut full of bait. caught about 8-10 reds ranging from 19 to 30" by just about everyone in our group. and skipjacks till your arms fall off

the best part was Saturday morning when my wife hooked something big. had to be a jack.... or a shark.... well both. probably would have placed her in third in the womens division, but such is fishing...

the drive off from the 40.5 took close to 5 hours through the water in some places and rain almost the whole way off. yes, we tried to make it off in high tide, which looking back was not the best decision, but we made it.

here are the pics.... enjoy.... cant wait for Sharkthon 2015
