Ok I know the tides have been high but I'd like to know if anyone has made it down to mm 15 and tried the pass? I've had plans to take a couple friends to fish Yarbrough on Labor Day for a while now. Anyone have the beach road conditions? (If there is a road left). It would save me a long drive from Kingsville/Ricardo area. Thanks

beach driving has been relatively crappy. during high tide the water is hitting the high road and probably impassable in some of the narrow places. I looked at yarborough last week and it was pretty soft and deep. I decided not to drive it in my stock expedition because of the clearance concern. I figure this rain will help getting into the pass, but will make the road where the big ruts/deep holes are a mess.

A lot better today actually. Sand is packed down and Yarborough is definitely passable. Keep an eye on the erratic tides this coming week Monday through Thursday..
