My wife & I were going to go fishing early in the morning because we finally have a day off together but after seeing Tyler's post from Whitcap & the chance of rain, I was not sure if we ought to pack up the mini-van tonight.

Anyone have a suggestion on whether tomorrow is going to be a day for fishing or a day to sleep in? Rain doesn't bother us but I don't want to go if the pros on this site are saying don't go. What's the deal?

water is up to the pavement and the surf is choppy. We went to north pack earlier this week right before the weather came in, it was dead calm but no bait and only ladyfish biting. We did see a few tarpon rolling at the end under pelicans but it was short lived. We even scuba dived along the surf side of the jetty, but still saw no bait.

After the high water recedes it should be good.

Sleep in its probably the right thing this morning. Surf was big yesterday and copy looked like chocolate milk on the camera. Wait till all this settles then fishing will be great again.
