Late report, but I guess better late than never. Had some buddies from out of town and family down at the cabin. We found drum, reds, and trout. Ended up taking home 30 Black drum, (3) slot reds and one oversize red that my buddy tagged, and 8 trout. I caught and released a 6 1/2lb trout. I didnt get its length since the tape on my rod is broke off at 28" and I didnt want to chance walking it back to the boat and possibly dying. I opted to just weigh and photo it before letting it go to fight another day. Here are a few pics:

29" Red caught from up top

Heading home

Lots of drum down there, looks like the water is looking better. Nice drum haul.

I see a couple of photo bombers looking for a bit of sushi in your last pic. Very nice report. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the replies. We are heading down again this weekend so I hope we get on them again and have a new set of photos.

We built the benches on site after we got tired of our folding chairs blowing in the drink. They are mounted to the deck. I guess after enough trips by the pier, anyone would "recognize" them unless you are getting at something else. I know Stan posted a pic a while back of my front porch where he rode out a storm while eating his breakfast tacos.
