Well, after a couple of days in the high waters, the tides have returned to normal and I got back from a weekend of Volleyball in Seguin (my sophomore daughter made the Varsity squad for the Bluff !!! ), and I went back to Access Rd. 3 to check on 'red car'.
Still there, holding down the fort. Anyone want to start a pool as to how long it takes the local PD / Constables / County to notice this abandoned vehicle and tow it off the beach, before it becomes a permanent marker?
My Over/Under is the 10th of September. |

Seems I would have lost that bet. I took the 'OVER' on the Sep 10th date, and as of this afternoon, 'red car' is no more.
Or at least, judging by the marks in the location it previously occupied, they drug it out of there and it has been spirited down to the City impound lot.
The offer still stands, though. Cheap vehicle, plus my finders fee. Just a PM away! |
