Not new here just changed my username. I'm just looking for other ideas for a new boat floor finish. It'll be re gel coated, but to web it or don't. Safe floor looks cool but pricey. Anyone have any other ideas? It's going on a 13' Dargel Skooter I'm rebuilding.

Take a look at a product called KiwiGrip. I used it when I restored my Aquasport in 2009 and it is still holding strong. It is very easy to apply. You can set the texture you want at application time. It is tough as nails. I have a bait cutting board covered with it and not cut through it. It is developed for marine application, will adhere to you glass with or without primer. It's not the cheapest product but one quart will cover the deck of your skiff.

Great project. I've been wanting to tackle a scooter for a while now. Would like to see more of your progress as it develops.
