I am in the process of getting my lot ready to build on by this time next year. I have started the clearing process and it is nearly complete. I wanted to do the driveway myself but looks to be more involved than I thought. I don't really know where to look for contractors that have experience doing this. If I'm going to pay somebody to do this , I want them to have experience. I can trial and error this thing without paying somebody. Guess what I'm asking is how do I get them to give me quotes on this? Just call them up and ask for an estimate?
I am going to have all materials delivered to site. It's going to be 3 8ft sections of 24" diameter concrete pipe for culverts and two of the concrete ends that create the right pitch to the end(not sure what they are called). Residential driveway with some sort of crushed stone for the top layer because once the house is done we are going to finish it with cement. Don't want large trucks coming in and out and destroying it.
The driveway(driving surface) is going to have to be 18ft wide as per permit I received from txdot.
I'm in Nueces County[/url] |
