My wife is making me retire my old fishing clothes and get new ones. Of course, they aren't really fishing clothes but really just old wore out clothes in which I go fishing. I guess I come by it naturally because my dad was the same way.
She's probably right. That speck is way prettier than I am. [img] |

The shirts are folded right out of the dryer, even the ratty shorts believe it or not. I'm very domesticated.
I agree with you FL. Here's a shot with me in an actual Columbia shirt a couple of years ago. It was a gift, and I wore it until the sleeves ripped.
Now something I still have are the Under Armor undies that I wear when wading in the bay or the gulf. Found out the hard way on that one about seven years ago at a Sharkathon event. Paid for that mistake for several days.

Here's a picture with my granddaughter and me at Shamrock a few years ago. Those sagging shorts I had for a long time and were the kind that the legs zip to the shorts. I wore the shorts more than the pants, so when I zipped them up, the legs were darker than the shorts. Wasn't very fashionable, or was it?
As you can tell, the waistband was out in them by this picture. I still have the boots, but the shirt and shorts are no longer part of the fishing wardrobe.

I'm usually the worst-dressed guy at the ramp or at the camp (but not always ) I even hunted in an old pair of dark, hole-filled khakis that I washed in baking soda and kept in a plastic bag. Killed my first buck in those pants.
I guess I need to see a shrink or something. It just doesn't feel like fishing if I'm all duded up, not that I would know what that's like.
How about you? Any others out there with the same problem? |

I hate ruining new fishing shirts with blood spots. For sure don't wear them offshore!~ _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

My wife says I can't go for 5 minutes before I have bleach stains on my fishing clothes. Believe me I buy the cheapest and whats on sale. I don't know what it would be like to wear one of them 50 dollar fishing shirts. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Well I've been working on it, but I'm still a bit off on the color combo. Should I match the buff and hat or the shirt and pants?

By the way, I go back to work on Thursday. It's been a good summer. |
