Good product and many people have caught using that bait.
Might consider the area you are fishing. _________________ Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. |

One of the most humbling facts of fishing. You have to fish where the fish are. I have hammered the fish & have been ready to turn pro. Then 3 or 4 times in a row, can't even catch cold. Saltwater fish are always moving. I have to keep telling myself to enjoy the day on the water. I use the gulp jerk shad in 5 & 6 inch varieties. Work them just like the bass assasins and have great luck with them. In the bay, tie to a 1/16 or 1:8 jig head and pop them along the bottom. _________________

Yup, I have had days where I nearly limited out with only gulps, and days where I caught nothing on them. Generally speaking, they are very effective if the fish are around.

That's my go to bait for popping corks. It also makes it easier when the perch are out in full force. Seen gulps catch more on the same boat than live shrimp! I usually throw spoons and tops myself. But as stated above gotta be on em! |

Where are you fishing? Do you use a boat or kayak? I fished with Gulps a couple of days ago and caught 4 Black Drum and 1 Trout. I must admit, the bite was slow. So we need a little bit more information about your approach. _________________ HighTide

Trust me, Gulps will catch just about anything. The only thing I have not caught with the gulps is a Tarpon. My go to gulp is the 3 inch Pearl White Gulp. Guess I should try a longer one for them. _________________ Off Shore Port Mansfield |
